WHEN AND WHERE IS GIRLS CAMP THIS YEAR?

Camp is scheduled for Tuesday, August 4th - Saturday, August 8th, 2015.  Check in is at 3 pm and check out is at 11 am.  We are lucky to have been able to reserve the group camp ground at Sibley State Park in Minnesota.  It is a beautiful park where we are going to have so much fun!

From St. Cloud, take State Hwy 23 to New London, then State Hwy 9 to County Rd. 40.  Then go west on County Rd. 40.  Go one mile north on 71 to park entrance.  From Wilmar, take US Hwy 71 north, 15 miles to the park entrance.

HOW MUCH DOES GIRLS CAMP COST?

Each girl's contribution to the cost of camp will be $30, with the remainder of the cost being paid for by the wards and stake.   Many of the YW organizations in our wards and branches will be working on approved fundraising projects to help with these funds.  We also recommend that each young woman tries babysitting, taking odd jobs, or doing extra chores to earn their individual portion of this cost.  When we work hard to earn something, we value it more!  We will work with those who might have difficulties paying the individual cost of camp.  Girls Camp is for EVERYONE!

We would like everyone to turn in their Camp Registration Forms and the Camp Fee at the Camp Kickoff that we have planned in June this year to cover costs that incur in the planning and execution of camp.  Thank you!

HOW OLD DOES A GIRL HAVE TO BE TO ATTEND CAMP?

A young woman must turn twelve by August 8th.  If her birthday is after that, she must wait and attend girls camp in 2016.
